Several veterinarians go around and try to get different opinions from different drugs.
I'm epileptic and was once a dog epilepsy (the world wanted to help the dog) was entered, and brought them to the veterans of the various pills until my.
The pills worked in the first two weeks I can not remember their names, but that is very cautious ID so dangerous for the dog seriusly ring around the vets to see what they say and do so immediately

Make sure your veterinarian for your dog for worms? If so, put it there? Because I believe with the whip and hook worms, which can cause this, I know that your dog will realize not even get in, and many veterinarians, if the worm has been processed and the decision of crisis! If this is the cause of them!

That's what my vet told me. The dog must take daily medication if:
1) attacks are more frequent than 1 per month.
2) that lasts more than 5 minutes.
3) are for the dog or painful.
Your dog needs to take medication every day of the crisis - and not just a pill, if you have one. If you bring a dog to the vet, give IV Valium - directly on your system. What typically stops recording. If not, give phenol Barbitol. You do not have the luxury of a bar (I guess Valium), which takes the time to work on it as a sleeping pill that you take, of course, they only last for so long.
I am sure that your vet is well meant, but if a drug made available full time - make a new vet. It is difficult for them to take time. It may be expensive - but it seems to be worthwhile.
Good luck.

When the vet told her a pill must be taken if another veterinarian consulted. It should be taken daily on a drug, not only when a crisis. I know, instead of phenobarbital and other drugs prescribed, but the drugs need to connect to your computer and stay there to prevent an attack.
Please take your dog to another vet!

WOW, 30-60min for a long time for an attack, it must be a joke phenobarbital and potassium 'My dog has seizures, but not so long ago, has its own more of it until they hurt you, and say to calm , Arent cheap drugs, but it needs to the veterinarian once a year for blood tests, which is very expensive, about $ 140 if the drugs have started to remove him or to attack, and it is the best of luck

Was it only rarely, for a start. Your vet may have given in this case, diazepam, to help the adjustment from time to time, but is now "counters must be substantial and regular medication now. They have to deal with your vet with a record of frequency of attacks return and a receive increases different dosage or medication or a different opinion, if you believe your vet, they do what is necessary to seek.

Hello, I have two dogs and a cat had seizures seizures. Fortunately, their attacks were controlled by a drug called phenobarbital. Take the medicine twice a day. Your vet should be able to say whether this drug would be an option for you. Once you begin, you should inform your veterinarian how your dog is doing it. If your dog is still having seizures, your vet will probably want the quantity of the drug to increase your dog receives. This medication is not give your dog if it is to start having seizures, a drug that will prevent your dog to your dog with them. You can hide a small piece of peanut butter on bread or in a Snausages or even the mouth and put him in the throat. He worked hard for our pets. If your veterinarian can help you get your pet to attack by a better control, which was found to another veterinarian. I say that brings you and your pet through this, so act today. And tell us how everything works.

He had one years ago Irish Setter, which began with seizures before their first heat. Sterilization was apparently not as serious crisis. It appears that your dog is Grand crises maul. They are very long and difficult. They were curious about drugs. Your vet prescribed. I have some neurological tests? If it were me, I would for another opinion and expirt field. Seizu take it as long as nothing too easy. It was decided that a brain tumor? It was very difficult to see my setters have their attacks and lasted for a minute and went into every once in a while, but it was three different drugs. I remember the vet said stress can cause a crisis, and warm, is the stress on the body. I wish you and your puppy lots of good wishes and good thoughts. I hope to improve it.

Your vet should be a psychiatrist to help you and your dog suffer so!

My dog had seizures regularly. I called the vet, who told me a sample of stool and urine to bring. How can you get a urine sample from a dog, you ask. Fortunately, my dog has been trained on the paper when he was still a puppy and leaving the paper with a new plastic garbage bag underneath. From there, the vet discovered she had been on vitamining my dog and urine analysis showed an accumulation of poor in magnesium. All dog foods are "enriched". So, if you eat well, you do not really need supplements. Milkbone, vitamins and minerals, and some other things that we put the dogs treats. The FP in a food containing this mineral. I could not even chew leather. After a few months not having seizures and went into a normal diet.

Firstly - sorry for what all of you.
The anticonvulsant medication should be applied twice daily, not only when the seizure. Never one to say an episode lasting as long as you do. I would be very concerned if this is the situation. Today they call another vet and get a diagnostic work. You will be informed and can take care of your sweet dog in the hands of the situation.
BTW - just ask the veterans how drugs can help you take during an attack?
Good luck and please seek another opionion.

Phenobarbital is the drug? The seizure of drugs should be taken twice a day to prevent seizures. Your vet should try to stop them, not wait until there is one that makes no sense! I would like to get a second opinion. I regret that you must guard your dog can go by himself. Good luck to you and your pets!
